A subtle processing error, which had gone unnoticed for some time and involved housing units built in large developments during the second half of a calendar year, resulted in the discovery of about 27,000 county residents who had previously gone uncounted (This reported by the Las Vegas Review Journal today). All of that translated to an official July 1 population estimate for Clark County of 1,996,542. Last Saturday was a success as we had a great evening at the Las Vegas 51's baseball game. Distinctive Real Estate and Investments, which handles sales for Streamline Tower in downtown Las Vegas, handed out tickets for a Realtor appreciation night. Clients, Realtors and friends were treated to a fantastic time in the right-field party pavillion, and were served burgers, dogs, ribs, drinks and appetizers for the evening. Unfortunately, the Las Vegas 51's did not pull off a win against the Sacramento River Cats, but since it was fireworks night, the evening went out with a bang!
