Forbes Magazine ranked Collin County as the 14th best place in the United States to raise a family. Here is Forbes analysis of Collin County: "Home to the burgeoning northern suburbs of Dallas, Collin County is a great value play for families. collin county: NTTA Wins!

I'm excited to learn that the NTTA(North Texas Tollway Authority) will be building Highway 121 in Collin and Denton counties. The Texas transportation commissioners voted 4-1 to allow NTTA to build the toll road. The commission agrees to give the Regional Transportation Commission and the North Texas Tollway Authority 60 days to wrap up a project agreement. Earlier this year, the state reached a tentative agreement with the Spanish company Cintra but there was a lot of concern about allowing a foreign company to build our road.
