Forbes Magazine ranked Collin County as the 14th best place in the United States to raise a family. Here is Forbes analysis of Collin County: "Home to the burgeoning northern suburbs of Dallas, Collin County is a great value play for families. An affordable median house price of $191,000 means access to a school system that boasts a 1,103 average SAT score and a graduation rate of 93%. One caveat: a sub-par crime rate of 34.7 index crimes per 1,000 people." Please vote "YES" for the three bond package in Collin County on November 6, 2007. The citizens of Collin County will have the opportunity to approve a 328.9 million dollar bond program, divided into three parts: Transportation $235.6 million Facilities $ 76.3 million Open Space $ 17.0 million Total $328.9 Million As a Collin County Realtor, I know that road construction is vital to the long term success in our county. collin county: NTTA Wins!

I'm excited to learn that the NTTA(North Texas Tollway Authority) will be building Highway 121 in Collin and Denton counties. The Texas transportation commissioners voted 4-1 to allow NTTA to build the toll road. The commission agrees to give the Regional Transportation Commission and the North Texas Tollway Authority 60 days to wrap up a project agreement. Earlier this year, the state reached a tentative agreement with the Spanish company Cintra but there was a lot of concern about allowing a foreign company to build our road. In the Dallas area, NTTA already builds and manages multiple roads in DFW and the money (3 comments)
