Boy this past weekend was a very busy one for me. On Saturday, I hosted two Open Houses in Crescent City California. In the morning I was hosting our new listing at 135 Dream Street, Crescent City, CA. It is a newer 4 bedroom, 2 bath home in a newer neighborhood. I had a few people drive by and slow down to look at the house and a few families came in for a walk through. The other house I hosted was 210 Joaquin Street in Crescent City. Watch out for easements when buying a home! Today my buyer and I went to various county departments to try to find out where a certain easement lied on the property that she is buying. The title company gave us a copy of the preliminary title report stating that there were two easements, one easement for the water/sewer company to have access of certain areas of the property for repairing water pipes (which we were able to determine where the easement lied), and the other easement was a Humboldt County easement which stated that the county can use the property for … (0 comments)

Today I went over disclosures and inspections with my client at the Eureka office for Lucky Star Realty (located on 1626 F St, Eureka, CA 95501). We had opened escrow a few days ago. It is my client's first home purchase in Eureka and he was really excited. I went over each of the disclosures with him and some we still needed to do, like our visual inspections and home inspection. We already had the pest and termite inspection, even the roof inspection and appraisal because the sellers on this particular house are eager to sell and have all the forms completed … (0 comments)
