The Maui News has published an article that is a bit closer to the "truth" then the regular reported facts. Though RealtyTrac dot com is not the best fact finder, more or less is the only fact finder available to the large and general public. This is no coincidence that the Maui news showed up seeing that the Red List was advertising the 100+ foreclosures to be auction off on Friday the 27th of August 2010.

Harbor Lights condominium is an affordable building with a pool. The sales have been as low as $35K for a one bedroom and $44K for a two bedroom. This is a place that can cash flow for the right reasons. Now the HOA is $668 and some may argue that's high! Yet it is all inclusive; water, electric, garbage, cable, maintenance, pool, security and insurance. If you live on Maui already you know those amenities can run high, even if you live solo. Up at Haopili Hale we saw an average crowd today, no public bidders, a Realtor Broker, 3 attorneys, John of (Na Hale O Maui), and myself.
Several HOA foreclosure proceedings happened today Maalea Kai, Walaka,. My heart goes out to each and everyone of us, as we struggle in these trying times. The information provided on this blog is courteous & only meant to inform you, your families, friends.
