chicago: Stone back in Chicago booth - 03/06/08 04:13 PM

Steve Stone is going to be back in the booth as a color analyst for Chicago baseball- where he belongs. After a successful pitching career (including a Cy Young) Stone held the television analyst position from 1983-2004 (missing some time for health concerns) where is best known for being the long-time partner of Harry Caray.
This time, however, Stone will be working in radio instead of television.
 
...and, oh yeah, he'll be on the right side of town!

chicago: Naming Wrigley Field - 02/28/08 03:34 PM
Yesterday, the Chicago Sun-Times ran a story about new Tribune majority-owner Sam Zell and his plan to sell naming rights to historic Wrigley Field, home of the Cubs. The newspaper's website is running a poll asking "Would you still attend Cubs games if Sam Zell changes the park's name?"
What do you think? Like 95% of people say Yeah. Sure. Duh. Why not?
