Did you know ... from 1997 to 2006 there have been 58,625 complaints filed with the FTC against the credit reporting companies?  Of these complaints only 8556 were for identity theft - the other 50,069 complaints were for unfair reporting, in correct, erroneous, wrong information on individuals credit reports.
