san mateo county real estate: Think Paint Before Listing Your House. It's an Easy ROI - 12/20/08 03:30 PM
I can't say it often enough - when it comes to buying a house, first impressions are everything. If you're selling or getting ready to sell your home in the coming months, one of the easiest and most dramatic ways to enhance that first impression is through paint.  Fresh paint makes your house look clean, bright, and inviting.
Painting inside and out is quick, inexpensive, and gives a huge ROI (return on investment).  If possible, hire a colorist to help you pick the right color for your house exterior and interior rooms.  If not, talk to your local paint store … (1 comments)

san mateo county real estate: Burlingame Market Update - 03/07/08 07:14 AM

Today I'm continuing the question I keep get about "What's going on with the real estate market in San Mateo County?"  with the city of  Burlingame, 94010.  This is the city where our office sits.  It is often compared with Palo Alto in it's charm and quality of life.  Burlingame has top schools, charming homes, good weather, close proximity to SFO and a high median price for single family homes. <!--{PS..0}-->The city is also celebrating its Centennial year.  It has changed a great deal over the past 100 years, too, from a town drawing San Francisco  families  during the summer, … (2 comments)

Commenting primarily on seven cities on the San Francisco Peninsula where I live, work and play. I believe that education about the real estate process is key in my desire to help people find their next home. If you are looking for research data about a community I write about, I have it. If you have questions about how to buy a home for the first time, I like answering those questions and educating you about real estate. Are you considering a Divorce in your life? Don't do it without talking to me first because there are huge financial ramifications to keeping the family home. You need to talk to a Realtor before talking to an attorney in order to protect yourself. Want more info about why? Read my blog.
