I know. The St-Louis Cardinals won the world series (Congrats, by the way). The NBA does not look like they will be playing this year. Hockey season is in full swing. We are halfway though the Football one. We are still digging out of those 5 inches (many of you much more) of snow from that insane "Snow-tober" Nor-Easter. So why a picture of a Bellingham International league baseball game? To warm up a bit and cheer ourselves up too because we will be there before we know it. You'll see! This was exactly 2 weeks ago already. The season is now officially over. But I did want to share this with everyone. These girls are all absolutely amazing. They are all different. They are all beautiful. They are all sharing the love for the sport of field hockey. This year, something magic happened. They all bounded. The team went through defeats and victories. But most importantly, they have learn "friendship". They looked out for each other. They hung-out after the games. They shared secrets ans stories and hugs! This has been a very busy week-end for me and my family. Not all good things but everything ended up in a positive way. One of the best part was to head out to the Mass Maritime Academy in Bourne with my daughter, to watch her Varsity Field Hockey team play in a tournament. My daughter should be playing next year. But for now, we gladly went to encourage them and cheer them on. It was so foggy at times, we could barely see them play on the field.
