The Harmonizing Health Retreat is a fun thing to do in Trimble County. I admit, I was curious of the offerings at the Harmonizing Health Retreat. I am in a great Keller Williams Realty class called BOLD, and was encouraged to contact vendors in the area to exchange business cards and possible referrals. So I contacted the owner, Rev. Henry County, Kentucky is a great place to live. I can say that because I was born and raised there! It is a wonderful, tight-knit community. There are fun things to do for those who are willing to venture around the county.
Recently I discovered the Smith-Berry Winery just outside of New Castle towards Drennon. What a find! You can go in any time they are open and get wine tastings, and their wines are reasonable in price. (Tell them I recommend the Bluegrass Blush.) The city of Mt. Washington is located in Bullitt County, Kentucky. Bullitt County is growing by leaps and bounds with the new companies coming to town more frequently. If you are thinking of moving to Mt. Washington, Louisville is within fairly close proximity. However, there are lots of things to do that are even closer.

Oldham County KY has two great options for public swimming. First, there is the John W. Black Aquatic Center, always a family favorite. A lesser known option is Falling Rock Park, which was originally The Quarry owned by Joe Clark, and is for adults only.

Rarely am I this excited about a Christmas event. But this year is special - we have a new family that moved to town (Mike and Vonnie Glover) from California and they are specialists with the Christmas decorations. Think of the house where Christmas lights were synchronized with Transsiberian Orchestra music and you get the idea. Downtown LaGrange will be hosting a similar celebration with lights and music. The program is 70 minutes long. Because everyone might not get to see it tonight, they will run it through several times through New Year's Day. It should be spectacular!
