What a wonderful opportunity when a previous Client returns years later to ask for help to buy a new home! Back in 2013, I sold her the house where she was living now. We worked well together for that purchase and during the years that followed. From time to time, she called with real estate questions and for house repair needs. always glad to support my wonderful Clients. Danger Will Robinson! Do Not CLICK Documents or Links Before Thinking! I am happy with most of the Clients who contact me over the Internet. Yet I am always hearing that cry "DANGER WILL ROBINSON". I always remember "DO NOT CLICK BEFORE THINKING". The attempted fraud below is not very sophisticated. Nonetheless - who knows how many people have allowed the malware from this person's emails into their computers? And, once in their computers, then not far from yours if you are in the person's CONTACT LIST! The first email arrived in mid-July. My first clue was the request for info at a purchase point (6 comments)

An important thing to remember is to TRUST YOUR OWN INTUITION when those calls come in to your office. from 1935 Case in point: "Frankie" called to say he needed a Broker. I explained that I was with a Client and would call him back in two hours. He wanted to begin explaining to me and I wanted to focus on my Client. FRAUD ALERT WAIT I DIDN'T BUY THAT AIRLINE TICKET!!!! Ever get an email that was not the normal style of communication from that person? Perhaps a phrase such as "I really enjoyed this." or "Don't miss this opportunity." or ... If a suspicious message has a link or an attachment, beware! One of my friends received an unusual email requesting her to open an attachment but the email seemed wrong. She reports: "I received an e-mail purportedly from Delta Air Lines about a ticket I purchased when I did not purchase a ticket. I immediately called Delta and was told that (8 comments)
