Atlanta Buckhead Midtown: GREAT NEWS! Trash Pick-Up January 21, 2022 In Atlanta Buckhead, Midtown Westside and CITY-WIDE -- employees missing work for Covid-19 related illnesses caused unintended disruption in Solid Waste Collections since the end of last year. Fortunately, many are better and collection is beginning again.
The Solid Waste department is offering advice as well: Even supplied three options! Welcome back! Looking forward to seeing you on Friday!
In Atlanta Midtown and other City neighborhoods, all Solid Waste Residential Collections will be delayed one day due to the Department closing down services to celebrate Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2020.

In Atlanta Buckhead and in Atlanta Midtown, expect different Pick-Up days this week due to the storm.
The change includes recycling and trimming collections.
According to an announcement from the City of Atlanta: Tuesday pick-up moves to Thursday, January 18th. Wednesday pick-up moves to Friday, January19th. Thursday pick-up moves to Saturday, January 20th. Friday pick-up moves to Sunday, January 21st.
The City of Atlanta Department of Public Works began the treatment of roads and bridges early on when faced with the approaching and sustained storm. The focus placed on roads around critical facilities, such as hopsitals, schools, police (3 comments)
The City of Atlanta published the dates for 2017 Holiday Solid Waste Collection. Typically, when a Holiday comes, the pick-ups are conducted one day later. However, For Thanksgiving Day 2017 --- there is no change. Solid Waste Collection will occur on Thanksgiving Day 2017.
For Christmas Day 2017 --- next-day pick-up will occur. Solid Waste Collection will NOT occur on Christmas Day 2017. Since Christmas is on a Monday in 2017, that means: Monday pick-up will move to Tuesday Tuesday pick-up will move to Wednesday Wednesday pick-up will move to Thursday Thursday pick-up will move to Friday
For New Year's Day 2018 --- next-day pick-up will occur. Solid Waste Collection will NOT occur on New Year's Day 2018.
