Here's the National Housing Report but how does it apply to you in the Schaumburg Area? Well, each part of the country is getting effected differently by the resurgence of the market. Until recently, we've been pretty sleepy here in the Midwest while other parts of the country are going gang-busters. May's home sales were the highest month so far this year in 2017. That is for both single family & multi-family home sales. If you need information on your particular subdivision & area, please feel free to give me a call to discuss your plans.

If I sell my house, I'll be saving $500 per month! This is what one seller said to me recently at a listing appointment. Due to the economy being the way that it is things have definitely changed around! This seller has been downsized now with no guarantee of overtime which she needed and expected to keep her household afloat every month. So ... if this seller sells her townhome she would obviously get rid of her mortgage payment, the assn. fee of $165.00 and a water bill. Sounds like a good deal huh?

housing market: Blaming Realtors for the Housing Mess??? You've got to be kidding!

Dan 'the man' (no last name or location) decided to write a post and comments on Karen Parson-Fiddler's recent AR feature on 'Anti-Realtors, why don't they blame the pool guy'. Having an opposing view is obviously not a popular choice, but Dan went out of his way to Realtor bash in his post. It seems that Dan blames all Realtors and attached cohorts for the current housing crisis.
