The MLS now performing feats of magic!The other day I listed a Schaumburg townhome and the only type of sign that is permitted is right in front.  No angle bars, no wooden posts, just the sign.  So as instructed I put the sign in the front of the house but there was another problem.  The townhome was getting a new roof that day!  So in between the workers, etc. I tried to get the best possible shot of the house which was dead on-straight.Two days later, a nasty gram came from the MLS saying that they had changed my photo because … (12 comments)

Hmm, what are they trying to hide?  Unfortunately that's the first thing I also think of when I see a home freshly painted. You can tell from the driveway that the home was 'normally' not taken care of so what else lurks beneath that fake freshness?
This is a great reason why a home inspection is of utmost importance. Do you really know what to look for?  Get an inspector that does!

Northwest Suburban Housing Forecast Inventory slightly up - Sales flat.  That's pretty much how the market has shaped up for 2010.  What is selling is the low end of every price range which will further pull down the average sales prices in the Northwest Suburbs. On updating the graph below over November, all the average sales prices were adjusted downward between $2000 to $4000 except for Elk Grove which stayed the same.Northwest Suburban sales figures have been slight through the last quarter of 2010.
