The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will visit Rupley Elementary School, 305 Oakton St., Elk Grove Village on May 7th, 2012 when the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program. Expected to attend will be the 500 students at Rupley Elementary who will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved. They also will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions. The program will be presented at 9:30 a.m. outdoors in Andrews Park immediately south of the school, weather permitting, but can be moved indoors if the weather is inclement.
