What percentage of Schaumburg Homes are foreclosures?
With the recent release of an article from the National Assn. of Realtors (NAR) I wanted to remind everyone in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago that real estate is local. NAR published a 'blanket statement' that obviously might not apply to your home and your area. You have to 'whittle down' to each town on a regional and then a local level.
Just a short recap on their statement published was that 39% of sold homes for the 1st Quarter of 2011 nationally have been either foreclosures or REO's. So what … (6 comments)

I really don't understand it. As a Realtor I spend alot of my time just shaking my head. Why you ask? When I go into homes with plenty of notice (days sometimes) the kitchen still looks like this .......

What is a Coach Home anyway? And while I'm asking what the heck is a Manor Home too? I have many buyers ask me 'What is a coach home or a manor home anyway?' It all started with Lexington Builders on the eastern edge of Schaumburg around 30+ years ago. It was a new design concept for condos that were normally high rise's in our area.
