Macomb County Michigan real estate values up 18.7% in June 2014   More great news! The median sales price in Macomb County Michigan is up 18.78% and is now at $127,000 according to new data released today by Realcomp MLS. This compares to a median sales price of $107,000 in June of 2013.
The average days on market for the entire MLS decreased from last year by nearly three weeks, from 66 to 43 days.
On market inventory increased by approximately 22.6%, from 19,459 to 23,862.

Macomb County real estate market springing into action!
Average number of number of days on market only 10.9 days
 
Well I showed many homes this weekend and at nearly every stop I was met by other agents showing the home to their buyers. Not necessarily great news for my client but an encouraging sign nonetheless!
 
A quick look at the statistics’ and I discovered that the average number of days on market is at a 3 year low.

Other data shows that the Average Days on Market decrease from last year by 7 days from 96 to 89.

Does your MLS display the name of the selling broker/agent in the agent profile report for pending listings?
If so, why? If not, why not?
Recently my local MLS changed their long standing policy and removed this information field. Prior to this policy change, my MLS displayed the name of the selling broker and selling agent on all pending listings. A few agents have expressed concerns and want the display put back the way it used to be. A reversal of this policy is now being considered at the next MLS board of directors meeting.

New news. The foreclosure rate in Michigan has appeared to decline. In a Detroit News article published 02/27/2008, properties entering into foreclosure in Michigan are declining. Now is the time to buy before the market prices increases. I believe that many buyers now the fence and choose not to buy now, will be kicking themselves for not jumping and and buying in March of 2008. The worst could be over.

Is it just me, or is feedback gone the way of the Edsel? Seems today's REALTORS® are too busy showing the vast active inventory available to return feedback. Many times sellers have asked me, "So what did the buyer think"?
I nicely say that I have emailed to agent, faxed a form to the agent requesting feedback and even done something difficult and tried to reach the agent by old fashion telephone.
