Tuesday June 10th from 11 am to 2 pm I will be hosting an Open House at 11 Virginia Court in Alton. This wonderful home has been recently renovated throughout. Some of the renovations include, new plumbing, new electrical, new floorplan, wood floors, fabulous kitchen with lots of cabinet space, granite counters and brand new stainless steel appliances. New master bedroom now includes a master bath with jetted tub. Bob Harding the owner of Meadowbrook US Cellular Pavilion in Gilford, NH hosted a party on Sunday at Meadowbrook in celebration of his life. You see, Bob was diagnosed lung cancer a year ago. He thought "What good is it to come see me when I'm in the ground and can't talk to you?" He also said that the Irish have a tradition of doing things like this. Annalee Dolls, Inc. in Meredith NH will be auctioning off original dolls on June 12 starting at 10 am. The dolls are orignial, hand-painted dolls that were on display in their museum in Meredith, NH. Some of the pieces being auctioned are the 1950s Girl Scout, 1960s Friar and the 1960s Oil Tycoon. They will all go to the highest bidder. South Down Shores in Laconia is one of the few gated communities in the Lake Winnipesaukee area. It is located in Laconia, NH with 4,000 feet of shoreline on Lake Winnipesaukee's Paugus Bay. The media has hit the real estate business very hard in the past year. But what most people do not understand is that it is not all bad, everywhere. Last week the National Association of REALTORS reported that out of all the existing homes sold last year, 33% were not primary residences, they were vacation homes or investment properties. The amount of investment homes that were purchased last year was 21% compared to 22% in 2006. The vacation home market was at 12% compared to 14% in 2006. That is not a huge drop. Grouse Point Club is a gated community on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in the town of Meredith, New Hampshire. The community consist of 19 condominium style homes and 63 single family homes with a condominum form of ownership. The community fees help with the maintenance of the amenities and common areas. There are seperate fees for the docks and moorings. So many people are unaware of the importance of their credit score. Your credit score determines your interest rate and of course whether or not you get a loan.
