The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has come up with its latest profile on vacation home buyers, compiled from statistics gathered in the NAR "2013 Investment and Vacation Home Buyers Survey". According to the survey, which covers new and existing sales in 2012, vacation home sales nationwide rose 10.1 per cent in 2012. NAR also reports that vacation home purchases accounted for eleven per cent of all real estate transactions last year.
