Florida Keys Mini Lobster Season is prime vacation rental time.  
 
Be smart, make sure you know the rules and regulations and most of all be safe out on the water. Each year in the Florida Keys vistors are arrested for illegal harvesting of our lobsters. Know the rules and follow them so everyone can enjoy the harvest for years to come.
 
Also, please be safe as you navigate our waters. Alcohol and boating are a deadly combination. Please do not drink and boat.

Florida Keys Spiny Lobster Sport Season
Season dates Bag limit Possession limit - on the water Possession limit - off the water Minimum size limit 
 
July 27-28, 2016 (Last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday of July each year)
6 per person per day for Monroe County and Biscayne National Park
12 per person per day for the rest of Florida

Equal to the daily bag limit Equal to the daily bag limit on the first day, and double the daily bag limit on the second day
Carapace larger than 3", measured in the water
Possession and use of a measuring device is required at all times
