"My house sold too quickly because my agent convinced me to under-price it so they could make a quick sale."
How long do you think an agent would stay in business if they made it a practice of under-pricing homes? Alienating clients is not a good business model when you consider that successful agents depend on referrals for future business.
The CEO of our former company used to say that "People hire you because they know you, they like you, and they trust you." Two out of three doesn't cut it.

Despite all of the bad news we heard about real estate in 2008, Beachwood, Ohio actually faired surprisingly well. We live here and we work here and find ourselves pleasantly surprised at the data!

117 sold properties reported in local M.L.S.                       95 sold properties reported in local M.L.S.
$257,102 Avg. Sales Price                                                      $251,483 Avg. Sales Price

Bottom line, we had 22 more sales this past year and the average sold property averaged around $5,500 more than it did in 2008. That's fairly impressive considering that the pundits claimed that the real estate market was on the brink of Armageddon.
