Without going the full certification route, I wonder if there is a standard checklist that sellers might complete when getting ready to list their house for sale. I like to cover specific areas. The order does not really matter as long as your cover all of them. Wants & Needs. What are your needs in a home? Beds, baths, garage, square footage, location, etc. etc. Qualification. What are you financially able to purchase? If financing, have you been pre-approved? Motivation. What is your time frame? Are you ready to buy? Do you have a contingency, such as selling a house. Agency. This a requirement in South Carolina.
