vancouver bc: Stage the Outside! - 03/26/10 09:27 AM
The outside of your house is just as important as the inside....if not more important!  The curb appeal of your house can give buyers motivation to get out of the car to look inside or keep on driving!  Additionally, the comfort of the backyard can help "seal the deal".  If buyers can picture themselves relaxing there, having friends over for a BBQ or watching their children play, it increases the chances of them seeing themselves in your house.  A good exterior renovation such as a deck, fence, patio or path can be just as important as a kitchen or bathroom update and … (6 comments)

vancouver bc: Favourite Chinese Greasy Spoon - 03/03/10 07:01 AM
Vancouver is full of stellar Chinese restaurants and one of my favourite places is Hon's Wun-Tun House.  They do quick, no nonsense, tasty Chinese fare for super cheap.  There are a few locations but I prefer the one on Robson.  (1339 Robson to be exact).  After a day shopping on Robson Street or walking in Stanley Park, it is easy to pop in and have a delicious snack.  The Robson Street location is a "nothing fancy" large diner with two kitchens - a meat kitchen and a purely vegetarian kitchen for those who watch mixing the two food groups.  Your orders … (5 comments)

The place is called Seb's and it … (43 comments)
