Today was the day Little Bubba went to kitty heaven. He had a good run of 15+ years in my lap and chasing butterflies in the garden. We will miss him. When ever I have first time home buyers I end up explaining what it means for the mortgage company to hold tax and insurance in escrow. Part of that explanation involves the promise of the little annual surprise from the mortgage company. Mine came today-it was a check for $59.74 followed by a drop in my monthly mortgage payment of $6.58. That's not much but it pushed the payment from just over $1000.00 to just under $997.00-looks so much better. (2 comments)

What kind of single family home can be resold most easily? i.e.: 4 bedrooms with price of $150,000-$200,000 or $250,000+? Because I am not sure how long I can stay in this area. 2. If your listing price is $200,000, how much can I usually get it for finally?
