Spring is yet to come but the Median Price for Single Family Homes for February 2015 is much higher compared to the previous months of February 2013 and February 2014. As always, there is wait-and-see attitude among Sellers who prefer to wait between Spring and Summer to sell their houses. However, as to the buyers, there is the feeling of excitement in shopping for houses, but also anxiety because of the expected influx of buyers with whom to compete. As of end of December 2013, here is the market report for Union City per MLS - "Days on Market (DOM) for the Union City area year-to-date is around 22. The median attached home price in Union City for December was $299,000. As of the last day of December there were 17 active homes in Union City. At current selling rates this means there is approximately 2 month of inventory in Union City remaining."
