Then may we suggest for you to drop them off at any one of the 14 bins that are around Chestermere at any time, located in schools, Recreation Center, and at Town Hall. Chestermere Lions Club Presents the Fifth Annual Pumpkin Patch
Raising money for local Chestermere Projects.
October 15th at Mountain View Cemetary from 10 A.M. until all of the pumpkins are gone!
Pumpkins are $10 each. There will be hot dogs, juice boxes and a story corner.

If you have boxes of books you want to get rid of, or you are an avid reader, that needs to support your habit, you can help Scotiabank support the Chestermere Public Library and The United Way in Chestermere.
You can drop off books until Monday Dec. 6th. Books will be on sale from 10 am to 6pm Monday to Thurday and from 10 am to 7 pm on Friday.

There will be a meeting at the Chestermere Town Hall in the Main Foyer regarding the Edgewater Crossing Area Structure Plan. This area of land is just South of the lake bordering East Chestsrmere Drive down to Township road 240, over to Rainbow Road. This area is between the lake and the railroad crossing. It should be a very interesting area, now much more viable as the train seldom goes down this track any more.

We are sponsoring two categories this year. Any colour picture of Chestermere and any sunset of Chestermere. Your photos will be displayed on ChestermereRealEstate.com and other sites that promote the Chestermere lifestyle. The town of Chestermere will be sponsoring a prize for colour photos of water sports in Chestermere. You can submit your photo from 1 pm to 6:45 pm on Friday September 17. Judging takes place Friday evening and the photos as well as all the other competition's will be available to view at the Chestermere fall fair on Saturday September 18.

It takes a lot of volunteers to organize and administer the Fall Red Ribbon Contest and we don't want to lose this traditional event!

The Chestermere Agricultural Society is presently organizing its 20th Annual Country Fair for Friday, September 18th, Sneak a Peak from 6 – 10 pm and Saturday September 19th from 10 – 5 pm. This fair is intended to provide a connection between the historic rural community and the fast growing urban development.
The Red Ribbon Contest is a cornerstone of this event. We would like to invite area families, organizations, groups, services and businesses to be part of Chestermere’s largest annual special event. This is an opportunity to get your name out there and meet the community.

Rainbow Creek Elementary is holding a comedy and magic night to raise funds for their playground. Tickets are $20 and there will be a silent auctions, door prize and 50/50 draw.

chestermere events: TAKE A BALOON RIDE & PUT FOOD ON THE SHELVES AT THE CHESTERMERE FOOD BANK.

This Saturday there will be free baloon rides for any one that makes a $5.00 donation to the Chestermere food bank. The rides will be tethered and will go up 80 feet so you can get an idea of what a real hot air balloon ride would be like. This will be if the weather cooperates and we have a calm day. If it is too windy they cannot go up.
