St. Augustine Florida is preparing for a party of enormous magnatude, one that will last over 2 years!  The commemoration of St. Augustine’s founding holds the promise of having meaning and value for people everywhere, of every age, and of every race.

In 2015 St. Augustine will lead the world in the commemoration of the 450th anniversary of the founding of this first permanent European settlement in America. The 2 ½ year long event will begin as the nation observes the 500th anniversary of the exploration of Florida by Ponce de Leon in 2013.
