st augustine beach: Somewhere on A1A - 10/12/14 05:48 AM
Somewhere on A1A you will find one of the greatest restaurants in the St. Augustine Area.  Sunset Grille has been serving delicious food for over 21 years.  Located just south of the St. Johns County Fishing Pier on the corner of A1A Beach Blvd. and 16th St in St. Augustine Beach.

One of my favorites at Sunset is chowder, and a lot of people will agree.  With 33 chowder awards including the “Peoples Choice Award”!  Sunset is more than just chowder...

Locals and tourists alike visit this establishment, and I’ve found it is a great place to network … (0 comments)

st augustine beach: Surfing Dogs - 07/22/12 01:14 AM
Earlier this month, 50 water-loving canines descended upon Imperial Beach in California for the 7th annual Loews Surf Dog Competition. How cool is that?  Among the participants was King (pictured here), a nine-year-old golden retriever. In honor of King and water-loving dogs everywhere, here's a gallery of dogs really enjoying the water.

Dan and I are headed to St. Augustine beach today.  I need to check on a few of our homes that VIP Staging is managaing and will surely be on the lookout for some surfing canines!

Mixing Business with Pleasure...I sure do love my St. Augustine Life!

st augustine beach: The Little Rascals and Arbor Day - 05/08/10 04:44 AM
Arbor Day always reminds me of the Little Rascals.  I was introduced to Arbor Day by Spanky and his Gang.  Do you remember the episode where Spanky plays hooky to ditch his school's pageant and midgets disguise themselves as children and they perform a racy little number in the show?

No need for truancy for St. Augustine Beach's Arbor Day ceremonies.  They are set for 5:30 p.m., Friday, at City Hall, A1A South.
There will even be a "pageant" of sorts, featuring the St. Augustine High School guitar ensemble, a poetry contest featuring St. Augustine High School winners and R.B. Hunt … (3 comments)

st augustine beach: St. Augustine Beach Celebrates 50 years - 09/12/09 02:38 PM
Locals have all seen the bumper stickers -- St. Augustine a Sleepy Fishing Village.... but St. Augustine Beach, incorporated in 1959, was never really a fishing village and anything but sleepy.  Long-time residents recall that the beach was quite the exciting place to be.  The hard packed sand was wide enough for planes to land and cars to race on.  There were even polo games with autos in lieu of ponies.
Today the only  planes you will see are in the sky and beach polo has been replaced with Frisbee tossing and paddle tennis. Additionally, The St. Augustine Beach Pier Park, located … (2 comments)

st augustine beach: Amy showed me that I was Techno-challenged - 06/26/08 04:58 AM
The Womens Council of REALTORS St. Augustine Regional Chapter hosted a Technology Seminar yesterday.  Lead by a phenomenal National Speaker, Amy Chorew, we learned how network sites (like Active Rain) help in our web search optimization.  Amy reviewed two cool programs that I did not know about, and they are free by the way, that will save me time and money in my business.

The first program, Photo Story 3, I have actually used before.  I have made a few videos from personal digital photos.  What I did not know was that your voice can be added to the "video" … (5 comments)
