There is a beautiful 2 1/2 story frame vernacular building at 102 Bridge Street. I have always known it as a mini grocery store, until it was shut down and purchase by the city. I have been curious about it’s history, and did a little digging. I found that it was variously a restaurant, gas station, grocery store, and residence of the founder of the Maria Jefferson Chapter of the D.A.R. in St. Augustine.
