Looking for something to do with Dad this weekend for Father’s Day? Check out a few events that caught my eye around the Lower Mainland.
Saturday, June 15th you can head over to Coquitlam’s Lafarge Lake for the Annual Free Fishing Day. From 9am-1pm you can come try the open lake or in the netted area for beginners, with lots of opportunity to fishing. If you arrive early enough you can even see them stocking the lake with fresh Rainbow Trout. For more information visit Festival Coquitlam.

fathers day: Latest Real Estate Board News & Local Farmers Markets

This past week the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver released their news report on the past month of May. A couple points from the article I thought worth pointing out; The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that residential property sales in Greater Vancouver reached 2,882 on the Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) in May 2013. This represents a one per cent increase compared to the 2,853 sales recorded in May 2012, and a 9.7 per cent increase compared to the 2,627 sales in April 2013.
