Its a Dog's Life, and I am so pleased to help make it so ! Halley is a special lady. She is so full of energy and love. Although the energy part may not seem obvious in this picture. lol It does my heart good to know she is so relaxed and at peace I can walk into the room and she does not stir. *************************************************************************** My daily rewards are beyond anything I may give. As a side note you may ask how I find room on my own bed. "It ain't easy!" Search: "Naples Homes for Sale" & "Cocolalla

dogs: Dog Day afternoon for Halley in Sandpoint Idaho
- 12/27/14 02:31 PM
Dog Day afternoon for Halley in Sandpoint Idaho With the snow starting to fall on the valley floors in North Idaho I decided to take Halley for a long walk at Dog Beach. With the cold and snow falling I was correct that we would have the walk to ourselves. Dog Beach is located on the Sandpoint side of Lake Pend Oreille. At the very point is the Long Bridge ( 1 mile long ) which marks the starting point of Pend Oreille River from the Lake. So began the Dog Day afternoon for Halley in Sandpoint Idaho. The bike/walking path that

dogs: Christmas 'Doggy Treats' abundant for Halley in Sandpoint Idaho
- 12/23/14 07:14 AM
Christmas 'Doggy Treats' abundant for Halley in Sandpoint Idaho I'm fortunate in that I have an office I can bring Halley. When it gets too crowded inside I am able to put her outside or inside the car. She has been accepted by all in the office as our official greeter. And I am guessing that is why the Christmas 'Doggy Treats' are abundant for Halley in Sandpoint Idaho! dogs: "Doogy Doo" dog groomer in Bonners Ferry
- 11/03/14 04:38 AM
Our pets mean the world to us and so the people who care for them are also special. I have been so fortunate in having had Shaya at "Doogy Doo" in Bonners Ferry, Idaho groom not only Halley presently, but Bilbo and Grizzly prior to her. Shaya knows that taking care of me is just as important as getting Halley cleaned up. I know I ask those silly questions that leave her shaking her head after I leave. We can not help it with our pets right? Shaya's smile and energy never falter. Shaya knows and understands customer service along

dogs: Preparing for the Real Estate day ahead with Halley
- 08/11/14 12:08 AM
I am sure we have all heard it before. We as humans want to put our feelings and emotions to those of our pet, especially our dogs. Many say it is just not so. I dissagree, probably mostly for my own emotional benefit. Halley joins me every morning in bed if she is not already there when I wake up. Gets her morning love talk and belly rub. As I get out of bed and start my morning rituals, of shower, dressing, tidy up etc she remains on the bed. Her eyes following me, and then sometimes drifting off to sleep.

dogs: Are you taking lessons from your Dog in how you work and live?
- 07/21/14 03:41 AM
How many times have we said "its a dogs life"? There are so many ways I would actually feel complimented if someone felt I was leading a 'dogs life'. One aspect I make a concious effort in trying to be more like my dogs, is how they live each day to itself. They get up with yesterday behind them. They wake to live for the moment. For the day. They can go to bed having been scolded and yet the next morning there are no less tail wags and kisses to great us. They are there for right now.

dogs: Grateful through the Real Estate ups and downs in Sandpoint Idaho
- 07/09/14 12:12 PM
I believe that appreciating the little things in life has made me enjoy life to the fullest. Have there been set backs? Heart breaks? Tough times? Of course. Yet something as simple as coming back to Halley (as in Comet) is always a treat. How could one possibly walk back to their car, and this mug with wagging tail, and not have their heart feel the warmth and love flowing over them. I am fortunate indeed.
