idaho: Unlikely Visitor Enjoying Backyard in Sandpoint Idaho
- 10/23/16 06:18 PM
Unlikely Visitor Enjoying Backyard in Sandpoint Idaho A moose is something you expect to see in the open fields or mountains. Certainly not laying in someone's backyard in Sandpoint Idaho. Yet a moose seen inside city limits of Sandpoint Idaho happens often enough that locals are used to it. Not that we ever become immune to the size of these beasts nor the fact they seem to have become perfectly at ease with these surroundings. Of course with their size one can see why they would be comfortable most anywhere. This moose seemed much more inclined to lounge and enjoy the sun

idaho: Sincere 'Home SOLD' Testimonial - Sandpoint Idaho
- 10/17/16 03:48 AM
Sincere 'Home SOLD' Testimonial - Sandpoint Idaho The home sellers for this off grid river front cabin were 'expireds' when I introduced myself. For good reason they asked many questions at our first meeting at Keller Williams Sandpoint office. My enthusiasm for the planned marketing plan convinced them. The below video was part of that plan. Some times a testimonial just does not hit the nail head as to what you would like other prospective clients to understand. This testimonial could not have hit more key words and points than had I written it for Peter and Paula myself. Just one line of the

idaho: An Afternoon at Bonners Mall Cinemas - Sandpoint Idaho
- 10/15/16 10:18 AM
An Afternoon at Bonners Mall Cinemas - Sandpoint Idaho Bonners Mall Cinemas continue to impress me. Even though not a mega theater, nor large one, it does always show new releases. October has seen some good releases overall and I was pleasantly surprised today. Glancing at the marque I saw 'Accountant' showing. Popcorn and Dr. Pepper in hand I enjoyed the movie completely. Ben Affleck is one of my favorites so enjoyed this movie even more so, I am sure. Good suspense movie with good acting. Currently showing as # 1 box office draw for the weekend. lol-Two hours long with never a

idaho: Welcome to Sandpoint Idaho !
- 08/30/16 02:02 PM
Welcome to Sandpoint Idaho ! When driving home, across the Longbridge, and back into Sandpoint Idaho I was so very pleased to see a couple of new 'artistic' type welcome signs going up. These will greet people as they enter Sandpoint either from the north or from the south. While the days are growing shorter, with light, it did not warrant the back lighting to be turned on when taking this pic. I am very anxious to see this with the blue having light behind it. So when coming to Sandpoint Idaho enjoy the new welcome signs as well as other new street

idaho: Merry Christmas from Naples North Idaho - 6 days left
- 12/19/15 02:44 PM
Merry Christmas from Naples Idaho - 6 days left An inexplicable calm, a quiet, a sense of something near has fallen over North Idaho. The Christmas Sentinels are more alert. The lights seem to be brighter, almost as if acting a beacon. With Halley's walk this morning she showed herself to be aware of the difference. This quiet is a calming quiet. A moment to find peace within one's self. Merry Christmas from Naples North Idaho. Are you wanting to experience the change of pace Living In North Idaho will make? Merry Christmas from Naples Idaho - 7 days left As we head into the final week before Christmas North Idaho received another nice storm last night. With the cooler temperatures this snow is holding on the valley floors. Adding to the beauty of the layer of white is the reflection of all the Christmas lights. Merry Christmas from Naples Idaho - 8 days left Santa's workshop is busy here in Naples. Frosting for the cookies. Last minute forgotten items for special "Mom's" recipes being picked up at the store. Fudge being cut and all on to special platters. While everyone looks at this 'Santa's Helper' a bit funny when told I made the fudge and cookies myself it does not take but one taste and the next year they are asking if it is being made again, with a hopeful look in their eye. With many plates delivered there are many yet to go and with that and only 8

idaho: Enjoying two of my favorite things
- 12/14/15 04:41 AM
Enjoying two of my favorite things Yesterday I choose to change things up for Halley's walk a bit. With the rain and weather I thought we would most likely have 'Dog Beach', in Sandpoint Idaho, to ourselves. I was not disappointed. As you enter Sandpoint, just off the Long Bridge, from the South or exit the ByPass from the North there is a parking area for the bike and walking path. From this point you can go on the path which goes by 'Dog Beach' and further onto the Long Bridge if you want. Take note in the picture how far the water

idaho: Wonderful Valentines Day Date. . .
- 02/14/15 03:09 PM
Wonderful Valentines Day Date. . . It was a quiet evening at home. Some reading. No TV. No music. And yet I can not imagine a much better partner to share the evening with. I find myself overwhelmed by her eyes. Her joy and contentment in just being with me. It matter not if we are doing something special or not. I must admit she got a bit spoiled with not 1, but 2 bones today. I don't wake up any day that I am not grateful for her companionship. Are you searching for a home with room for

idaho: Sandpoint Winter Carnival 2015
- 02/14/15 01:33 PM
Sandpoint Winter Carnival 2015 Sandpoint Idaho is having its Winter Carnival this weekend. Many events, live bands, shows are planned for the Sandpoint area as well as Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort. One very popular event is the "Parade of Lights" through downtown Sandpoint on Friday evening to kick off the Sandpoint Winter Carnival 2015. The float representing Selkirk Association of Realtor's® was grand. Keep in mind this is still small town where a farm tractor can turn on its lights, along with emergency vehicles, and join the parade. Selkirk Association put together a home made of Progresso Soup cans, as well

idaho: Are We Treating Past Clients Like We Are Trying to Win Their Business?
- 02/13/15 04:49 AM
Are We Treating Past Clients Like We Are Trying to Win Their Business? I could not help but compare a recent hair cut to our Real Estate business. My hair desperately needed cutting (both of them) and in calling for an appointment I got a message she would be out for two plus weeks. I had already gotten to what I repectfully refer to as the 'Grandma Look', but having my hair cut by her for over 5 years, I decided to wait. This week I called only to get another message. Left one of my own with no answer

idaho: Friday the 13th
- 02/12/15 06:23 PM
Friday the 13th Friday the 13th also known as Black Friday in some countries. A day of concern for those who are superstitious. Friday the 13th is difficult to pin down for its origin. There is no actual documentation of Friday the 13th prior to the 19th century. Some state 'The Final Super', on Thurday, having 13 diners with Judas being number 13, and Crucifixion the next day on Friday. You can also go back to Friday the 13th, 1307 when hundreds of Knights of the Templar were rounded up and arrested. In numerology 12 is considered a number of completeness.

idaho: Luck Can Still Be a Factor, No Matter How Good You Are
- 02/12/15 01:08 AM
Luck Can Still Be a Factor, No Matter How Good You Are I have a tree located between two homes in Naples Idaho. It has been been dead for a while now. I have been calling tree services, loggers, tree toppers to get rid of this tree. Always the same story of how long they have been doing this business and no problem. A couple have actually come out, only to decline the work. Good ole boys no doubt. I am interested in getting the work done now, not what they have done in the past. Finally got a guy

Just a Tiny 'Reminder' As I walked into Sandpoint Super One Grocery, on the way home this evening, I could not help but think of a couple of sayings, quotes...however you wish to call them. "Two sides to every coin" & "The scales always keep things even" Here is what greets people the moment they walk thhrough the door just for those of us that need Just a Tiny 'Reminder' not to forget their special one. Nice. Of course on the other side it may be like a 2X4 upside the head to those of us who may not have someone

idaho: Poor start in Naples Idaho this morning, or was it?
- 12/28/14 05:25 AM
Poor start in Naples Idaho this morning, or was it? I did snow removal last night when I got home to Naples Idaho. Woke this morning to maybe another 3 to 4 inches. Not too much, yet enough to be very troublesome if it warms up at all and cars drive on the damp snow. Got out the snow blower and moved pretty quickly. Got to my car and wanted to move it so area around it would be cleaner. This is when my Poor start in Naples Idaho could have begun. My car would not start. Nor did a couple

Christmas 'Doggy Treats' abundant for Halley in Sandpoint Idaho I'm fortunate in that I have an office I can bring Halley. When it gets too crowded inside I am able to put her outside or inside the car. She has been accepted by all in the office as our official greeter. And I am guessing that is why the Christmas 'Doggy Treats' are abundant for Halley in Sandpoint Idaho! idaho: Christmas goodies in Naples Idaho
- 12/21/14 11:55 AM
Christmas Goodies in Naples Idaho for Sunday Mom handed down a long standing tradition just before she passed. It was the recipe for the fudge she made every year during the Holidays. She would not give it to me before then stating it would not be so special if everyone was making it. With it came a beautiful card that I have to this day. 10 pounds completed, and on plates, for friends before Christmas. I have kept the yearly tradition going, and now family and friends have enjoyed this fudge at Christmas for over 60 years. People chuckle the

idaho: "Polar Express" shown for kids of all ages at Keller Williams

"Polar Express" shown for kids of all ages at Keller Williams Keller Williams Couer D' Alene does much for its community as well as for the kids of agents and staff of Coeur D' Alene and Sandpoint offices. This evening was a great example as the movie "Polar Express" was shown for kids of all ages at Keller Williams, in the training facility on the big screen. One of my top 3 favorite Christmas movies. This is usually reserved for only a day or two before Christmas. I made an exception this year with the Coeur D' Alene showing. This animated movie

idaho: Big Trouble in Little Naples Idaho
- 12/15/14 06:25 PM
Big Trouble in Little Naples Idaho There are some things that happen in the kitchen that are worse than others. You know what I am talking about. Having your oatmeal water boiling only to find that you do not any Quaker Oats left. Or a P&J sandwhich half made only to realize the jelly at the bottom of the jar is not enough to even cover the knife you are using to spread it. Three items go to the top of the list for my kitchen's "Big Trouble in Little Naples Idaho. #1 Finding no syrup after you have your pancakes cooked
