realtor: Everyday efforts that make a difference and keeps on giving.
- 11/23/14 02:22 AM
I made a comment on this blog post by Realtor®, Associate, friend, Rain Silverhawk. After thinking about that for just a moment I did not think it was enough. Rain is the type of person that raises the quality of not only the office but real estate profession as a whole. I have seen her repair drywall in a garage herself to insure the closing. Taken a moment to help fellow agents with computer problems. Made special trips into the office to help me set up a program or new computer. This is all selfless and for no personal gain. The

realtor: Bonners Ferry Three bedroom Home with warehouse SOLD! !
- 11/19/14 10:59 AM
Bonners Ferry Three bedroom Home with warehouse SOLD! CONGRATULATIONS to Karen Robinson and Jim Ronbinson of Bonners Ferry, Idaho. This was a unique opportunity which also makes for fewer possible buyers. 1 acre of land, a 2,500 Sq. Ft. home with an attached 2,900 sq. ft. warehouse with Main Street frontage. As well happen often times we were not getting the views I felt the Main Street frontage warranted until we received the first offer. Then it was like the flood gates opened. I delivered the final paperwork this evening to a speechless Karen. Almost got a tear in her eye

realtor: Frustration one of the emotions Realtor's have on their plate
- 11/18/14 08:24 PM
Frustration just one of the emotions Realtor's® have on their plate I was reading a post by Rain Silverhawk today and could not help but think of the irony of how close it was to that of Elizabeth Kay Williams. I find it ironic that two Realtor's® on the opposite side of experience are voicing the same frustrations. Even Active Rain points show them to be completely separtated from one another in experience. So where does the frustration most often show itself as the breaking straw? Not with our clients. Not with lenders. Not with title companies. No our biggest frustration, that is but

realtor: Sandpoint Ponderay area Transit bus stop compliments of Rotary
- 11/17/14 11:21 AM
Sandpoint Ponderay area Transit bus stop compliments of Rotary There are many service clubs in and around all of North Idaho, the nation for that matter. If you are not familiar with them or do not belong to one you will be amazed at the work they do for local communities. Ponderay Rotary headed this bus stop project up with local high school welders and suppliers donating time and money. All these people teamed up for the new Sandpoint Ponderay Transit bus stop. The transit is also known as "SPOT". A main stop for 'SPOT' (Sandpoint Ponderay Transit) is at Bonners

realtor: Sandpoint Pet Shop doing well after big chain moves in
- 11/14/14 10:34 PM
Sandpoint Pet Shop doing well after big Pet Store chain moves in! While we all enjoy growth it also can be tempered with the scales always keeping things even, especially in smaller towns. Unfortunately many times when the bigger chains move in local business suffers and ultimately may go out of business. Local pet store owners Tim and Annette Tillberg, Pampurrred Pets & Aquarium, have not allowed that to happen. After one year of competition, from the newly moved in "large chain", Pampurrred Pets is still doing well. Having been in business for 11 years now Annette mainly runs the

realtor: Realtor's education plays major role in professional services offered
- 11/13/14 10:38 AM
Realtor's education plays major role in professional services offered. An agents education after becoming a Realtor® greatly influences counsel and advice given while working with a client during the purchase/sale of land or home. Yes there is a minimum amount required to maintain your license. Is that really sufficent in this day and age? A Realtor's® education should be based on professional service to his clients, not just keeping up with requirements for their license. It is not always easy and sometimes classes seem to fall on days that everything else under the sun is happening. The importance of keeping

realtor: Are you taking care of your seller properly?
- 11/08/14 09:11 PM
As Real Estate Agents we are hired by sellers not only to sell their home, but also do our very best in guiding, protecting, and counseling through out the entire process. Counseling can go from educating them properly in properly pricing their home when originally listing to simply putting them at ease during escrow. That yes this is normal and not to grow concerned over the lack of communication at this moment. As Realtor's® a transaction from start to finish is something we have seen hundreds of times. To sellers, and buyers, a real estate transaction can seem like a big monster in

realtor: Referrals are a Real Estate Agents biggest compliment !
- 11/08/14 11:17 AM
As Realtor's®, one of the biggest compliments we receive is a referral. This is true of any profession and especially so in Real Estate. We work hard to walk a client through all the mine fields that exist today in the real estate world. If done properly a satisfied client many times becomes a friend for life. So you can imagine how proud I felt the other day with a client calling for advice. This ranks right up there with a referral because it only confirms how much faith and trust has developed between someone you may have only known for

realtor: Final days of Fall at Schweitzer Ski Resort for Youtube Thursday
- 11/06/14 10:03 AM
Final days of Fall at Schweitzer Ski Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho With the hard rains today I thought it would be appropriate to give a last look at Schweitzer Resort before the white storms show up. I was up there just the other day and quite beautiful. The fall colors were still trying to hold on while a light dusting of snow was on the upper ridges. All this only emphasized the final fall days at Schweitzer Resort as skiers and boarders alike anxiously await the white magic. The main Village itself was looking more like a ghost town that anything
