Sandpoint Realty coverage extends from North of Bonners Ferry Idaho, Canadian Border, to Coeur D'Alene Idaho. East from Clark Fork to Priest River western most. Basically all the North Idaho Panhandle.
Someone when seeing this photo of a fixer upper would immediately imagine it to be miles away from anything, on a long lonely highway.
To the contrary this is within Sandpoint City limits and actually less than a mile from Downtown Mainstreet of Sandpoint Idaho. This giving proof to a small town in North Idaho still in the transition phase.

Sandpoint Realty 'Friday Flag' is a very unique one this week and have been looking forward to sharing it with you.
We will from time to time see a USA Flag painted on a work truck or vehicle, and it is always appreciated.
Take an extra moment here to enjoy the work that went into the detail from hood to rear of tank. Stars and Stripes front to back with even the 'Signing' depicted near the back quater of the tank. Very impressive!

Sandpoint Realty 'Thursday Thought' is not a new message. Some have taken it to new levels though.
I doubt there are any of us that have not heard some form of 'failure is a form of learning', or it is not a matter of if we get knocked down, but if we get back up.
A quick look at Sam Walton's many failures, epic failures, shows that not only did he live by these words, he seemed to revel in them.

sandpoint idaho realtor: Pacific Northwest Fire Season Brings North Idaho Smoke

Along with the high temperatures North Idaho and surrounding areas are experiencing the usual summer fires. While most fires are not right at our doorstep in North Idaho the smoke finds its way to our North Idaho Panhandle.
While this pic may not look too bad with smoke, it is mid afternoon and less than 1/2 mile to the train trestles just on the right. The road ahead seems to disappear and the hills just beyond the tree tops are not even visible.

Sandpoint Realty 'Friday Flag' is well worthy of it being the 2nd time shown.
Both photos are found in front of a Coeur D'Alene Idaho Firehouse.
We are in full swing of the fire season in Pacific Northwest. Firefighters are constantly being called to put themselves at risk in order to put others at safety.

Sandpoint Realty 'Friday Flag' again brings forth one of my favorite genre's. A local resident uniquely displaying 'Ole Glory'.
While on showings in and around Sandpoint Idaho we found this landscaping with the USA Flag across from one of the homes we viewed in Kootenai Idaho. Outstanding!
My clients looked at me funny as I rolled the car window down to take a few photo's. After explaining my 'Friday Flag' posts they understood, and the kids thought it was pretty cool.

Sandpoint Realty 'Friday Flag' while unique, does not tell the full story in and of itself.
Earlier this year our North Idaho skies were lit up with lightning strikes. We were fortunate they were mid spring with still fresh growth and heavy rains during the storms. Minimal fires as a result.
The photo above is wee hours of the morning. Not dusk nor early dawn. The sky being lit by on going lightning, sometimes for hours on end. On multiple ocassions North Idaho was treated to Mother Natures personal light show.

Sandpoint Realty 'Thursday Thought' addresses the current frame of mind of so many right now.
Times are definitely turbulent right now. Downright volatile. At a time when we all should be taking a step back and taking a deep breathe, most seem happy to jump.
I am especially referring to sellers, at least in the North Idaho area. Unwilling to let go of the past couple of years as not being the norm. I am seeing price reductions within a couple of weeks of the new listing.
