CE Discl. -  HUD-1 eliminated on Aug. 1st!   Now what?
That's right! The new TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) Rule introduces two new disclosures one of which is the Closing Disclosure that replaces the HUD-1 for most real estate transactions with a loan. While the disclosures required by TRID are intended to be more consumer friendly than the current HUD 1. GFE and TIL. the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule also dictates a new process that will have a significant impact on the real estate, lending and title/escrow industries.
