You can never get enough of fishing on the Chesapeake Bay. Each day is different and each day brings new surprises. This day was one of those perfect weather days where you would give your eye teeth to be out there even if there was nary a fish caught. Yes another day of fishing on the Chesapeake Bay is worth its weight in gold. And the stories of the one that got away are priceless.

Out and About Loving Annapolis Fishing the Chesapeake Bay One of the greatest pleasures of living around Annapolis is also one of it's greatest treasures. The Chesapeake Bay. Maryland's portion of the bay covers 1,726 square miles with the narrowest part of the bay being right here in Annapolis at 4 miles. All in all the Chesapeake Bay is 195 miles long and is the biggest estuary in the United States.
