You know, I’ve found that people have no VISION. If they walk into a home that needs some TLC, they cannot see what it COULD be. I know I’ve mentioned that my wife and I have remodeled lots of houses during our marriage, and one thing we had was VISION. A client came to us in need of only one property to be managed in the Ruston area. We managed this one particular property for about a year before adding a second property. FOR SALE. Seeing that sign gets me so excited. Even before I had my real estate license, my wife and I were buying ugly houses to remodel. We searched for those For Sale signs. Everywhere. All the time. We drove around town in our free time. We scoured the classified ads in the newspaper (Ok, yeah, this is showing my age!) We went to Open Houses on the weekends to get ideas.
