I talk about a lot of areas in the SW Ohio region, but today, I wanted to give a shout out about the homes being offered for sale in South Lebanon.

The housing market appears to be on solid footing again after the long downturn that we've all had to endure. Home sales are up, prices are trending back up, existing inventory is down. It is an excellent time to sell your home!

When the market was cold and homes for sale were a dime a dozen, a buyer could shoot an offer at a seller that was within earshot of the asking price and could expect a SOLD or at least a counter offer from the seller.
Today's market is different. If the buyer doesn't at least make a "very reasonable" offer, it can be several days before receiving a reply from the seller. Why should the seller respond too quickly and agree to a lower price than they can expect to achieve by waiting a few days?

SHOULD I HAVE THE HOME I'M BUYING INSPECTED? Inspections are a common concern of first time buyers often wondering whether or not they should have or need to have a home inspected.
