Although the Obamacare website is a complete joke and the government is forcing its citizens to obtain health insurance whether they can afford it or not. The USA is still the best country on the planet. The housing market appears to be on solid footing again after the long downturn that we've all had to endure. When the market was cold and homes for sale were a dime a dozen, a buyer could shoot an offer at a seller that was within earshot of the asking price and could expect a SOLD or at least a counter offer from the seller. Today's market is different. If the buyer doesn't at least make a "very reasonable" offer, it can be several days before receiving a reply from the seller. Why should the seller respond too quickly and agree to a lower price than they can expect to achieve by waiting a few days? There are less homes on the market … (3 comments)

First and foremost. If a buyer is not paying cash to purchase a home, they need to speak with a lender and obtain a pre-approval for a mortgage letter before doing anything else.
