Yesterday was my first house tour for friends. I picked up the gang (we actually had 9 people and took 3 cars) and we toured four houses in an hour, give or take 30 minutes. I provided brown bag lunches and had cold soft drinks and water. We toured two new homes on Glenna Goodacre Blvd. and two great houses in Monterey-Leftwich and Tech Terrace. We all oohed and aahed over something in each home, whether it was the light fixtures, staging, granite countertops or jacuzzi tub. Now is such a great time to buy a home in Lubbock. There are many great homes available in all price ranges. As a matter of fact, I have to curb my enthusiasm when I see some of these homes...or else I'd be making an offer myself. And except for a bit of wind the past couple of days this is a beautiful time of year to shop for your dream home. The air is crisp and clean and the temperatures are moderate.
