I am so grateful that Lubbock received much needed moisture this week in the form of rain, sleet and even a few flakes of snow. Things are beginning to green up - a few blossoms and leaves unfurling on the trees.March is a natural time to think about going green. I am not an environmental wacko, but with water issues, rising costs, and down turn economics one would be remiss not to consider conserving. I am planning to go paperless in my office this year. We woke up this morning to rain in Ransom Canyon. It is a light steady rain and is just so nice. I think I heard the ground sighing "ahhhhhhhhhhhhh". I think this rain is the remnants of tropical storm Eduardo. I guess realtors aren't immune to making mistakes when selling their personal homes. Have you found it difficult to apply your knowledge and professionalism when selling your own home? I ran the comps and priced my home in the range. Thinking back to the real estate classes I took, I recall us covering the topic of safety. Let other realtor's know where you are going. Keep your phone with you. Meet people at the office and get to know them before you meet them at an empty house. I really don ‘t remember any words of caution regarding cats. Last week I showed a neat house to a couple.
