Located about 40 minutes southwest of downtown Boston, Dover is an affluent residential town nestled on the south banks of the Charles River. It’s a peaceful setting, with many scenic roads, and while farming is largely absent today, the town’s farming heritage is still very much evident in the rural quality of the town. You can’t look far without seeing New England farming characteristics even to this day; open pasture land, old stone walls diving properties, farm houses and barns, and beautiful stands of white pine, birch, oak and maple trees.

In a recent conversation with a woman who became a new client, we were discussing the various economic factors contributing to the current real estate market. To begin with, I have lived in Colorado, Maine, and most of my life in MA so I am familiar with winter conditions and driving on snow.
