Wake County NC has voted to open one all girls and one all boys schools. Grades 8-12 will be allowed to apply for the limited spots available. The schools will work in conjunction with local colleges as leadership schools. The ROTC will be based at each and open spots going to student applicants who show leadership ability. Great schools boost the real estate values in any community so I am hopeful that this will be a positive addition to our market. I'll be watching this closely.

In North Carolina there are very specific rules with regards to short sale and the words an agent uses. We are never allowed to say the word "negotiate" but rather "assist." The NC Commission has stated that an agent is not qualified to negotiate a loan but rather help the homeowner sell their distressed property. Please be careful when speaking about the process or you may find yourself in front of the Commission.
