Today I am in the heart of the famed hotel zone in Cancun. Beautiful beaches are the main attractions but there is so much more. This is a fun little area with a lot to do and see. And all within walking distance. There are two major shopping plazas. The first is Plaza Kukulcan. Here you will find Luxury Avenue, a huge store lavished with all designer brands. It is like a mall within a mall. And if you are hungry from all the shopping, stop by Ruth Chris steak house to recharge before embarking on another round of shopping. … (3 comments)

Cancun is well known for its hotel zone. With beautiful beaches and grand hotels bringing visitors back time and time again. The northern section is known for shopping and nightlife. There is always something to do. What if I want to live in the hotel zone but with a little less vacation feel? The southern area may be a perfect choice.
