After an hour long conversation, this is the core issue for this particular consumer. He's been trying to sell his property for well over 2 years now with no success. That's not what's bothering him though. He's a smart man, and understands the market. What's bothering him is lack of communication. He had the same experience many consumers share. OK -- I stole that quote from someone -- can't remember who -- but I like it. Land Banking is a time honored tradition here in Florida among savvy investors who look towards long-terms buy and hold propositions. When we moved to quiet, tiny Clermont, the main drag on Highway 50 was (for the most part) undeveloped. The land on that corridor could be had for what was (in hindsight) a song. I always tell my clients, and potential clients that life is beautiful in Lake County. Here are some of the reasons why ..... 1. People are just plain nice here.
