I can't wait. I haven't been this excited about getting a package from FedEx since I was probably a little boy waiting for some make-your-own-radio-station kit that didn't even work because I can't solder to save my life (and I have a ham radio license, go figure!). For some reason, spending quality time cleaning out my home office has motivated me to get the little things that I need to have done completed. I just finished my new open house flyer template to hand out when I walk door to door to promote an open house. My files are ready to be sent off for my taxes. And I'm getting things slowly ready for Family Reunion, the Keller Williams Realty international networking and learning event in Las Vegas... about 2 weeks away! Tonight, President Bush will give his State of the Union address to Congress and the country. Putting political opinions of Iraq aside, there seems to be this "understanding" that the real estate side of the economy is "bad." I happen to disagree. Real estate is still going strong! This afternoon, I spent some time on a service I belong to called Realist that allows me to search tax information for my clients. I decided to get out of the office to work on a few items on my laptop at a local coffee house in my neighborhood. I walk in, sit next to a gentleman who has blueprints sitting next to him. I ask him if he's building and find out he just did build, but is a business owner who is investing in real estate in Texas. He owns land here in Northeast Ohio and is looking to buy and sell up here! Now the plan was to come here and work on some systems I want set up for this year … (4 comments)
