1st annual: Join the 1st Annual Sophie Swim event in Kaanapali Maui

The Sophie Swim event in Kaanapali Maui kicks off this year on Sunday August 28, 2016, from 7 - 10 am. This fun event is for anyone 12 and older, in memory of Sophie DeLoria. It's an open water 2 kilometer swim from Kahekili Beach Park to Black Rock and back. It's a charitable event for the whole family to enjoy and participate in. Prizes will be awarded to winners and runners up. Categories and age groups, with or without swim fins are separate: Youths 12-14; Youths 15-17; Adults 18-20; Adults 21-25; Adults 26-30; Adults 31-35; Adults 36-40; Adults 41-45; Adults 46-50; Adults 51-55; Adults 56-60; Adults 61-65; Adults 66-70; Adults 71 and older
