Maui FirstLight: Academy screenings on Maui. 2012 season underway The Maui Film Festival is a wonderful thing that has been growing steadily for a number of years. In the summer they focus their films in the Wailea area, as well as at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. In the holiday season it's called FirstLight and this year is already underway at the MACC. This is the 14th year for Maui to be treated to first run cinema offerings.
