Wordless Wednesday - Paige Alms short film preview Just a shout out to my neice Paige Alms - women's big wave surfing champ! She's from Maui and she's going to the Olympics next year to surf for Team Canada! Check out this amazing young woman, and look for her film coming soon. We saw the film at the Celestial Cinema in Wailea Maui, and it's really good.

MAUI NORTH SHORE SURF Today they are calling for waves to reach 30 feet on the north shore of Maui. Here are some pictures of the waves at midday, Feb 14, 2008. They get a lot bigger than this at times. This is the north shore of Maui - between Paia town and Ho'okipa Beach Park. Further out to the east will bring you to the famous surf break called JAWS.
