Haiku Maui HI 96708 - vacant land market update Feb 2018 Here's a quick report of the real estate market activity in my part of the island, Haiku. It covers a large area and there is so much diversity that it's really hard to make any comparisons, but if you follow the market you might find some interesting bits. Fresh new look for Paia Maui Hawaii - Dec 2015 Just some random photos from the little beach town of Paia, on the north shore of Maui. There has been a lot of new construction of commercial buildings, and a general sprucing up of some of the older shops. Here's a little update. This new building is in behind Charley's Restaurant, in the parking lot. Still not sure who the new tenants will be. The F. Garcia Building is getting a whole new look and total make-over. Kamaole Sands Vacation Condos - Kihei Maui HI - market update At this time of year people flock to the sunny shores of Kihei Maui to stay in vacation condos by the beaches. One of the more popular spots is the Kamaole Sands development which consists of 10 buildings on 15 acres, just across the street from the ocean and a beach park. The 4-story buildings hold a total of 440 apartments, which can be rented out short term. Units come in a variety of floor plans, with 1 and 2 bedroom single level models, and 2 and 3 bedroom models with lofts.

Napili Point oceanfront condos on the west side of Maui offer some great fee simple and leasehold units with ocean and mountain views. The great thing is that the lease payment is so minimal until 2046 that these vacation condos are priced well.
Napili Point is at 5295 Lower Honoapiilani Highway, in a very beautiful setting with easy ocean access and dramatic views. There's 115 apartments in 10 low-rise buildings on 5.3 acres.
