It's not the first time, and it won't be the last, for me to show off this beautiful peaceful beach scene in front of Mama's Fish House in Kuau Maui Hawaii. When we lived just a few houses away from this beach, I would walk to the beach every morning and comb the sand for seashells. The tidepools are great for dipping in, with no worries about getting swept out to sea.

Huelo, Waipio, Honokala - Haiku Maui from the air
It's a big wide shot of this beautiful coastal scenery along Maui's north shore. You won't see this from the Road to Hana, but with a drone flying camera it's possible. This is the coastline on the top of the eastern flank between Paia and Keanae, showing the typical terrain of seaside cliffs punctuated with mountain streams in steep gorges. The land drops away quickly offshore as well, making for deep ocean currents just a short way out.

I used to have a link on my old website, that would pull up Maui homes for sale with swimming pools. I don't think it really got much traffic, but how can you tell? (Google Analytics - that's how)
Well my new website (www.MauiHunter.com) is a little different and it's getting good results and lots of traffic. I'm still building new pages, and I plan to have one featuring pool homes.

As I'm updating some links on my eastmaui.com website today I'm noticing the active and pending listings in the different parts of Maui, Hawaii. A few random statistics caught my eye and it's interesting to see that the oceanfront segment of the market has a lot of inventory but very few properties under contract. It appears to be the toughest selling category, but this report does not include condos which is a whole different market.
VACANT LAND:
Haiku has 33 listings of vacant land priced from $350,000 to $12,000,000 and only 3 are pending, priced from $360,000 to $479,500 Wailea has … (8 comments)
