Loads of fun at the Hunter Brothers Farm and corn maze in Florenceville New Brunswick, Canada. We're up in Canada for a late summer vacation, when there's fewer bugs and the nights are cool. This is a good time of year to be here, and not just because of the weather. At this time of year there's harvesting to be done, with corn and pumpkins, and potatoes ready to come out of the ground. Haiku Maui's annual flower festival coming April 14, 2018! Yes it's that time of year again. I won't bore you will all the details again this year, but please remember to stop in to the Haiku Elementary School for a fun day with many things to do and buy. You can stock up on plants and flowers, buy some locally made arts and crafts and have a big lunch from Restaurant Row. All proceeds go towards Haiku Elementary School and other community groups. Maui Escape Rooms in Lahaina is a fun activity you can do with the whole family. You may have heard of this type of activity on the mainland, but it's a first for Maui. They have 2 themes for the rooms, one is Jail Break, and the other is Bank Heist. A third room is being prepared for December with a Christmas theme. More variations will be coming soon. fun: Halloween events on Maui's north shore, October 2016

It's October on Maui, and that means a lot of Halloween celebrations. The party in Lahaina is the biggest event at this time of year, with tens of thousands of people attending in costumes and masks. Lots of fun activities and costume contests, live music and partying. You can sail over to Lahaina on The Pride of Maui for the festivities, and leave your car at Maalaea Harbor to avoid the traffic on the pali.
